A Great War LSGC group to 33446 Cpl A M Maybourne RGA / Dover Castle
Arthur Montague Maybourne was born in Marden Kent in 1890. He was a pre-war regular, attesting in 1910 and at the time of the 1911 census was with 40th Company Royal Garrison Artillery, based in Dover Castle.
He served in France during the Great War disembarking on 4th September 1915. He survived the war was awarded the LSGC, staying in the Army until June 1932.
Arthur passed away in Barnard Castle, Durham in 1954.
