A 1914/15 Trio to 34569 Pte. F. H. Piercy

1914/15 trio to 34569 pte F. H. Piercy of RAMC. First arrived in france 20/1/1915. A mistake has been made on the star, with his surname being spelled incorrectly “Piercey” This has been noted on the medal card, showing the correct spelling as Piercy. The BWM and VM are named to Piercy. Piercy was evidently annoyed with this mistake, as his medals and ribbons are in unworn condition. Unfortunately the medals are slightly tarnished due to them being kept in an old cigarette box. It is believed that Piercy is from the Middlesbrough area. Also comes with a repaired RAMC cap badge, which came with medals.
