1914/15 trio to 7/1838 Pte W. Nelson North’d Fus

KIA 23^rd June 1915 – Born Ashington Northumberland

William Nelson was born in 1892 in Ashington Northumberland, the son of Michael and Elizabeth.

William landed in France on the 21^st of April 1915 serving with the 1^st/7^th Northumberland Fusiliers. On the 17^th of June 1915, the 7^th Northumberland Fusiliers moved into the Hooge Defenses around Bull Farm. William was Killed in action six days later on the 23^rd, he is buried in R.E.Farm Cemetery
