Clement Bradley was born in 1889, pre war he worked as a confectionary salesman and lived in Bradford.
He attested on the 10.12.1915 joining the 11th battalion, he embarked for France on the 31.05.1916 and was posted to the 10th battalion on the 19.6.1916.
On the 4.10.16 while travelling to the front line with his battalion a shell fell within 2 yards of him. While here was no physical injury he was admitted to the New Zealand Stationary Hospital due to developing shaking hands and ringing in his ears after the incident.
On the 20.4.1918 he was reported as missing. He was later confirmed to be POW. Clement was repatriated on the 5.12.1918 and was placed in the reserve 29.3.1919.
The watch fob is solid silver.
