Leonard Royle was a member of XII Platoon, C Company of the 18th battalion Manchester Regiment.
He landed in France on the 8th of November 1915, he later transferred to the Labour Corps with service number 453492. He was discharged on the 20th of February 1918.
The group comes with an A4 size photocopy of a picutre of XII platoon and a list of the men present in the photograph, showing Royle to be one of the men.
