3rd battalion Cheshire Regiment
Edward Percival Logan was born Claughton,Cheshire, England in 1871.
The London Gazette lists him as a 2nd Lt on 13th of August 1915 and as a full Lt on the 10th of April 1916. Logan later went on to serve as a Draft Conducting officers, a basic description of this post is he was in command of men before they were sent to join their battalions. Entitled to a 1914/15 Trio
It seems he left for Australia in the post war years, but returned to England aged 69 in 1939. Logan died in 1954, a photograph of him in uniform in later life is available on ancestry and will be included with the medal along with MIC and LG documents.
