British War Medal to 6 - 2788 Pte W. Hutchinson DLI
Walter Hutchinson was born in Crook, County Durham in 1899. At the time of the 1911 census Walter was living at 61 Commercial Street in Crook. He served in France with the 1/6th from the 19th of April 1915 and was sadly killed in action on the 10th of October 1915. He was laid to rest in the Houplines Communal Cemetery.
