Please note CWGC and SDGW both have misspelt Gascoigne as Gasgoigne. This plaque is definitely a unique name.

Frederick Walter Gascoigne was born In Leziate, Norfolk in 1895. His medal index card confirms entitlement to a pair only. Frederick was killed in action at Cambrai on the 30th of November 1917 while serving with the 7th Norfolk’s.  He is remembered on the Cambrai Memorial.
