KIA 26th March 1916 – Buried in BULLY-GRENAY COMMUNAL CEMETERY, FRENCH EXTENSION
Richard Fawcett was born in South Shields in 1895. A miner by trade he lived and worked in East Howle and later in Fishburn.
Richard arrived in France on the 25th of August 1915 and was Killed in Action on the 26th of March 1916 while serving with the 13th Battalion Durham Light Infantry, he was laid to rest in the BULLY-GRENAY COMMUNAL CEMETERY, FRENCH EXTENSION.
