Victory Medal to 2259 Pte T Pace DLI.

Thomas Pace was born in Wingate County Durham in 1896, at the time of the 1911 census Thomas was working as a Coal Mine Pony Driver. He was living at 417 New Row Wingate.

Thomas landed in France on the 18^th of April 1915, he sadly died of wounds while serving with the 5^th battalion of the DLI. He was laid to rest in the Bucquoy Road Cemetery, Ficheux.
