Thomas Pace was born in Wingate County Durham in 1896, at the time of the 1911 census Thomas was working as a Coal Mine Pony Driver. He was living at 417 New Row Wingate.
Thomas landed in France on the 18th of April 1915, he sadly died of wounds while serving with the 5th battalion of the DLI. He was laid to rest in the Bucquoy Road Cemetery, Ficheux.
