Sidney Charles Lenn was born in Westerham, Kent, England in 1887. A domestic Gardner by trade, at the time of the 1911 census he was living and working in South Croydon.
Sidney landed in France on the 11th of March 1915. He survived the war.
His son Stanley Frank Lenn was sadly killed in action during WW2 at Monte Casino with the Essex Regiment on the 11th of June 1944.
