Albert was born in 1892 in St Giles, Durham, England. At the time of the 1911 census he was working as a clerk and living at 30 Gilesgate Durham with his family.
Entitled to a pair only Glenton medals are prefixed 22 which show that he was an original member of the 3rd County Pioneers.
He survived the war and passed away in September of 1972.
