Pair and Special Constabulary to 47503 Pte W Cockshott North’d Fus

Walter Cockshott was a farmer from Keighley near Skipton. Entitled to a pair only he joined the 23^rd Northumberland fusiliers as a replacement in 1917, later transferring to the Yorks + Lancs He sustained a gunshot wound to the left leg in 1918. Extensive papers come with group.
