Peter Currie was born in Dundee in 1889. A Hairdresser by trade he attested on the 1st of June 1915. He landed in Gallipoli on the 6th of November 1915, he was evacuated to Malta on Christmas Eve 1915 suffering from trench foot and charcoal poisoning. He returned to England in January 1916 to recover. He later served in mesopotamia, his papers note he was gassed.
