Walter Henry Scott was born in Hackney, he enlisted in London. Scott landed in France on the 16th of August 1914 and was entitled the 1914 star with clasp as confirmed on his medal index card. He was a member of the 2nd Division Ammunition column RFA
Scott was sadly killed in action on the 1st February 1917 and was laid to rest in Pozieres British Cemetery, Ovillers – La Boisselle. He was the husband of Edith Scott of 54 Black Boy lane Tottenham, London.
