Possible MID grouping to Major H J Grant

The group consists of a portrait photograph of an Army Major, a 1939 to 45 Star, France and Germany Star, Defence medal and War Medal with Mention in Despatches in box of issue. The box is addressed to Major H J Grant, 134, The Boulevard Starthfield NSW Australia.

I have not been able to confirm the MID or find out very much about Grant. A possibility is that he was Harold James Grant who served in the Indian Army in Burma.

The group is how I bought it, I haven’t added the photograph. There is always the danger with second world war groups that people split paper work and add medals thus making numerous groups to the same recipient. This group has the original box which gives it more credibility and the source I bought it from is trustworthy.
