SWB to 7736 Pte A Bridgewater R Welch Fus
A pre war regular he joined up on the 20th of March 1903. He went out to France with the 3rd battalion on the 12th of September 1914. However he was sent home due to sickness on Christmas Eve 1914. He was declared fit for home service only and was eventually discharged on the 19th of April 1916. He was granted a pension for his 13 years service.
