George was born in Hadfield, Derby in 1895. He attested on the 1st of september 1914 aged 19 years. His gave his occupation as Weaver. Papers are online and show he was disciplined twice for being late on roll call.
Landed in France on the 27th of September 1915 and thus entitled to a 1914/15 Trio.
Killed in action 21st of may 1916 and buried in ECOIVRES MILITARY CEMETERY, MONT-ST. ELOI
Scroll is mounted on a piece of card, come with a fragile condolence slip. The plaque is unpolished.
