Edgar William Hindr was born in Wroughton, Wiltshire, England in 1892. At the time of the 1911 census he was working as a Drapers Assistant, living in Swindon.
He enlisted on 16th of March 1915, giving his occupation as Carpenter. He arrived in France on the 7th of Ocotber 1915 and was remustered as a sapper.
He survived the war and passed away in 1975.
The medal have been cleaned but are in EF+ condition
