Thomas John Harries was born in Dinas Cross, Pembrokeshire on 6th September 1874.  He joined the Navy in 1899. 
 
Awarded the LSGC in 1912. He served on H.M.S Harrier a Minesweeper during the Great War.
 
The victory Medal is pinned to a wooden portrait of Harries; it’s the typical photograph type that has been retouched with paint.
