Andrew David Whitehouse was born in Middlesborough on 26th September 1966. He enlisted as a boy soldier aged 16 on 16th June 1983. He served in Northern Ireland from 13th July 1984 until 28th January 1986, he then served in Cyprus from 19th February 1986 until 20th August 1987. 

 

Whitehouse was discharged on 26th September 1987 with his Co describing his military conduct as Exemplary.
