Died of Wounds 18.10.1916 – Gallipoli Veteran
William Youll was born in Newcastle in 1893 the son of William and Annie the family lived in 39 Diana Street Newcastle upon Tyne.
William arrived in Gallipoli on the 7th of September 1915 and served with the 11th Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment. It is not clear when William was wound or where, possibly it was Gallipoli or France. He died of wounds at home on the 18th October 1916 and is buried in the St. John’s Westgate and Elswick Cemetery in Newcastle
