Please not Elliott was entitled to a trio his 1914/15 star is missing
William Elliott was born in 1892 in Darlington the son of Margaret H Elliott
Elliott enlisted on the 9th February 1915 and was posted to the 3rd battalion at Richmond on the 12th May 1915. William arrived in France on the 13.10.1915, he was Killed in Action on the 12th July 1916 while serving with the 10th Battalion, he is remembered on the Thiepval Memorial.
