British War Medal to 17839 Pte F. Simpson. Northumberland Fusiliers
Fred Simpson was born in York, he enlisted in Bradford joining the Northumberland Fusiliers. Fred landed in France on the 29th of June 1915, sadly he was killed in action on the 6th of October 1918. Remembered on the Vis-En- Artois Memorial .
