Died of Wounds 10th June 1918 - Varennes Military Cemetery
Thomas Phillips Was born in Goldborne, Lancashire in 1899. At the time of the 1911 census Thomas was attending school and living at 40 Beech St Shaw.
Phillips served with the South Wales Borders with service number 49990, before transferring to the Royal Welsh Fusiliers with service number 58140. Thomas died of wounds on the 10th of June 1918 while serving with the 13th battalion; he was laid to rest in the Varennes Military Cemetery.
