Memorial Plaque and BWM to 38527 Pte E Douglass DLI
Ernest Douglass was born in Shotley Bridge. He attested on the 23rd of August 1916 while living in Gateshead and working as a painter and decorator.
Douglass was entitled to the pair only, he was sadly killed in action on the 3rd of August 1917. He is remembered on the Tyne Cot Memorial.
