With two postcards sent home to his mother.

George Graham was born in Southwick, Durham and resided in Wheatly Hill at 2 Third Street.

He enlisted in Deaf Hill, joining the 22nd Bn of the Northumberland Fusiliers, the Tyneside Scottish. George was sadly killed in action during the Battle of Arras on the 9th of April 1917. He was laid to rest in Roclincourt Military Cemetery.
