Wiliam and George Parker were both born Middlesbrough, William in 1891 and George in 1886. Both men were Labourers in civilian life.

William joined the Royal Naval Division on the 10^th of September 1914, he was sadly killed in action on the 26^th of October 1917, while serving with Anson Battalion. He is remembered on the Tyne Cote memorial.

George was taken prisoner on the 21^st of March 1918, the first day of the German Spring Offensive. He survived and was discharged in March 1919.
